Challenges
Before Dell and EMC officially merged together, there were lots of unknowns - Plenty of structure changes and layoffs were happening within EMC. It was a challenge to keep up with contacts within the organization. You could be working on that person today and the next day, your contact could have already left the company. It was very chaotic and uncertainties were everywhere. At the same time, difficult to figure out who were our counterparts from the other organization and which teams to work with from the Dell organization.
Solution
Develop a mobile app that will remove all uncertainties within the organization that will help connect these huge organizations together.

Motion and Animation
It can be tough to describe how components will move just with static images and bullet points. I’ve created animations to better explain to the Development team how transitions and interactions will work on this screen.

Behavior
The employee in the middle area will be the focal point. The photo of a Manager on the top can be dragged in the middle card and the screen will update to display the emphasized employee’s manager and direct reports. Any Direct Reports at the bottom can be also be dragged to the middle area and the screen will automatically update to the appropriate org structure.
